I agree - good write-up. Serena was deserving, and it was indeed like poetic justice frm the year before. So in that respect, this one was certainly sweet for Serena. She came to play for sure - this was evident within the first few games. She always seems to rise to the occasion on the big sxxxe, and this was no different. Serena meant business right from the get-go. Venus went through the whole tournament without seeing the kind of serving bombs and balls that Serena sends back, and so Venus was caught off-gaurd, I think. Both of them play with such power and agressive style attacking, and although it seemed like this was another slug-fest final, I think this one had better angles and ball placement. In the end, Serena simply would not be denied. Well done to both of them as well in the doubles. What a nice reprieve for Venus, as it was for Serena last year. Now ladies, stay sharp for the USO!
